Grownup
Original Theater Production, Director & Co-Developer
Project Overview
Grownup is an original theatrical production developed in collaboration with writer-performer Emily Stout. Beginning as an unfinished script, the project evolved through an iterative creative process into a fully realized stage production exploring grief, humor, and personal storytelling.
Creative Development
Partnered with Emily to develop and refine the work from concept through performance, shaping the narrative structure, theatrical language, and creative direction while preserving her distinctive voice. Through rehearsal, experimentation, and ongoing collaboration, helped transform an early draft into a production-ready script for live audiences.
Production Leadership
Directed the production from development through performance, leading a multidisciplinary creative team across scenic design, lighting, projections, sound, costumes, and technical production. Coordinated rehearsals, production timelines, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain creative alignment from concept to opening night. Designed staging and movement that integrated storytelling with practical production needs, including choreography for seamless onstage set transitions performed by the actor during the show, creating a cohesive and uninterrupted audience experience.
Audience Development
Developed and produced promotional campaigns to build audience engagement, including concepting, editing, and producing original marketing videos that combined performance footage, music, and audience testimonials for social and digital platforms. Grownup premiered in Solana Beach, California, before continuing to a production at Theater Mitu in Brooklyn, New York.

Too Sentimental EP
Original Music Project, Co-Producer and Songwriter
Project Overview
Too Sentimental is an original EP developed from a personal songwriting practice into a collaborative independent music release. Beginning with early guitar-based recordings, the project evolved into a layered production exploring themes of distance, connection, and the relationships between people and places.
Creative Development
Developed the project from initial songwriting through production and release strategy, shaping the creative direction while expanding the sound through collaboration with musicians, producers, and creative contributors. Collaborated with producer Kyle Henderson to evolve the material from intimate singer-songwriter recordings into a more expansive sonic palette incorporating layered vocals, synths, electric guitar, piano, and saxophone.
Production & Collaboration
Recruited and coordinated musicians, producers, and creative collaborators across multiple recording sessions, aligning contributors around the artistic vision of the project. Managed creative communication and production logistics throughout the development process, supporting the transition from early demos to a fully realized independent release.
Release and Audience Development
Produced promotional video content and social campaigns to support the EP release across Instagram, YouTube, and streaming platforms. Developed release materials and rollout strategies designed to introduce the project’s sound, story, and creative identity to audiences.

The Great God Pan

The Great God Pan by Amy Herzog is a contemporary drama exploring memory, trauma, and the complexities of personal identity. Directed as part of a studio production at Crash Acting Studio, the project brought together an ensemble cast and creative team to realize a published work for live performance.

Developed the artistic vision for the production, guiding the interpretation of the script and shaping character relationships, pacing, and staging throughout the rehearsal process. Worked closely with actors to build authentic performances while fostering a collaborative and supportive rehearsal environment.

Smoochy Girl
Original Solo Show, Director & Creative Developer
Project Overview
Smoochy Girl is an original autobiographical solo show created by writer-performer Aidan Rees. Centered on themes of grief, resilience, and identity, the project was developed over multiple productions through an ongoing creative partnership that refined both the script and the performance for live audiences.
Story Development
Collaborated closely with the writer to shape the show's dramatic structure, strengthen its emotional arc, and clarify the storytelling while preserving the authenticity of the writer's voice. Guided the work through multiple rounds of development, helping transform an early collection of ideas into a cohesive and engaging solo performance.
Performance Direction
Directed the premiere production and worked one-on-one with the performer to develop a confident, compelling stage presence. Through rehearsal, performance coaching, and audience feedback, helped refine pacing, character transitions, and emotional delivery while supporting the performer in navigating the unique demands of solo performance.
Ongoing Creative Partnership
Continued to serve as a creative advisor as the production evolved through subsequent stagings, providing script consultation and performance coaching that supported the show's ongoing growth and refinement across multiple productions between 2022 and 2025.

Wake Up Maggie
Original Song for Feature Film, Songwriter, Co-Producer & Vocalist
Project Overview
Wake Up Maggie is an independent feature film written and directed by Katie Prentiss, exploring family, identity, and the emotional impact of frontotemporal dementia. Commissioned by the film's production team, the project involved creating an original song that would complement the film's emotional journey and support its central themes. The film is currently in the final stages of post-production.
Creative Development
Developed an original song inspired by the film's concept before principal post-production was complete, translating the screenplay's emotional themes into music and lyrics. As the film evolved, refined the song through ongoing collaboration with the director to ensure it aligned with the story's tone, character development, and final edit.
Music Production
Collaborated with a co-producer to shape the song's sonic direction, evolving the arrangement and production to support the emotional arc of the completed film. Balanced creative exploration with the practical needs of a commissioned project, adapting the music to serve the broader storytelling goals of the film.

Performed the final vocal for the recording and worked closely with the film's creative team throughout the process, integrating feedback while maintaining a cohesive artistic vision. Take a Little Time
Short Film, Lead Actor, Songwriter & Co-Producer
Project Overview
Take a Little Time is an MFA thesis short film written and directed by Mac Baumert following a young woman who returns home after a professional setback and reconnects with her creative identity through songwriting. Invited to contribute as both lead actor and songwriter, the project combined narrative performance with the creation of an original song developed specifically for the film. The film is currently in post production.
Creative Development
Wrote the original song It's All Right to support the film's emotional journey and the protagonist's artistic transformation. Worked closely with the filmmaker to ensure the music complemented the story while reflecting the character's personal growth and emotional arc.
Music Production
Co-produced the initial recording of the song in advance of principal photography so it could be used for synchronized on-camera performance. Coordinated the recording process to balance artistic quality with the technical requirements of film production, creating a performance track that supported both filming and post-production.
Performance and Collaboration
Portrayed the film's lead character while performing the original song on camera, integrating acting and musical performance into a cohesive character journey. Collaborated with the director throughout development to align the music, performance, and storytelling in service of the film's creative vision.

Likeness

Project Overview
Likeness is a science fiction short film written and directed by David A. Flores. The story follows a young woman who partners with an AI recreation of her mother to investigate her mother's unexplained disappearance, exploring themes of memory, grief, and the evolving relationship between technology and human connection.

Collaborated closely with the writer to shape the show's dramatic structure, strengthen its emotional arc, and clarify the storytelling while preserving the authenticity of the writer's voice. Guided the work through multiple rounds of development, helping transform an early collection of ideas into a cohesive and engaging solo performance.
Performance
Portrayed one of the film's two lead roles, balancing emotional realism with the technical demands of a performance driven by visual effects and post-production. Built a nuanced on-screen relationship with a character who existed primarily through a computer interface, requiring authentic emotional connection while performing opposite a screen rather than a scene partner.
Creative Collaboration
Worked closely with the director and cast to shape character relationships and maintain emotional continuity across technically complex scenes. Adapted performance choices to support visual storytelling and the film's science fiction premise while remaining grounded in the emotional core of the story.
Recognition
Likeness screened at more than 25 film festivals, including HollyShorts and LA Shorts. The performance received the Best Actress award at Hysteria Fest, and the film premiered on Omeleto in 2024 before being featured on Omeleto Sci-Fi in 2025.
